What is international law?
What is law? How did you understand law? We have some requirements - Accepted standards, set by representatives/government. The government put some kind of rules or standards. What else do we need for something to be a law? So Kaunas says that you only can only drive in road by bike, 60 km/h. well is that satisfy first requirement of law? – yes, it set by the government but also we need for something to be a law under this? Is that enough? Should you go 60 km/h? to be a law you also need something else. Well it’s the first standard – set by government – your representatives, they put this rule on but the next part can be what? Let’s say Kaunas says – that should be 60 km/h on the speed road outside law school and I go 200 km/h and no one bothers me. Is that a law? Is something a law if that isn’t enforceable? There is no police and you can go as fast as you want. Is that still a law? You can’t kill anybody but in fact if you killed- nobody happens to you? Is that a law?
