Opinion Essay „Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be“- Abraham Lincoln

These words, once spoken by the famous US president, have some truth to them – most of the time, the happiness of an individual is truly determined by his or her own life choices, however, sometimes it is just simply not the case. Here is when the word “most” should be emphasised. Building your own happiness can seem like a difficult task if you’re a person suffering from at least one out of heaps of psychological disorders or are just hurdled with personal problems. After all, I do believe that people can bring joy to their lives and partially agree with the statement.
