Writing help for 11th/12th graders

When we write a story, we can use flashback narration. This is when the story starts in the middle and then earlier events are introduced using the Past Perfect. The story continues using normal past tenses, leading the readers to the point where it began, then goes on the end of the story.

When we write about pros and cons of an issue, we consider a topic from opposing points of view, outlining the advantages and disadvantages.
