Introduction

Nowadays it is very important to know the history of the Europe or even the whole World. People make a lot of various mistakes and one of the best ways to avoid big mistakes – to learn the history. To give a more specific explanation about this statement, it is worth mentioning that the history of the Europe and the World is full of bad and good events. Lots of useful inventions, scientific achievements could be assigned to the good side of the history. On the other hand, lots of wars, rebellions or disagreements between the countries could be assigned to the bad side of the history. Therefore, in order to avoid mistakes in various fields in the future such as economy, mutual cooperation between the countries, politics or culture, everyone should study the history. It helps to find other ways to solve various problems and not to repeat mistakes made recently or even hundreds of years ago. Since the ending of WWII in 1945 Europe significantly developed its role in the international political environment. There existed several reasons which required major changes in unstable and vulnerable postwar continent and these reasons were followed by the certain decisions and solutions taken on the purpose of European resurrection and unification. The aim of the article is to represent the main reasons why Europe needed reforms to promote unification after the WWII and measures by which these reforms have been realized. This could be explained by raising three core questions: why Europe could not maintain the same political path as it was before; what exactly has been modified and reshaped after the WWII and how the most needed changes and solutions have been implemented.
