Task: Morrie says he appreciates the small things in life, such as looking out the window at nature. What things do you appreciate and what do you think people take for granted?

Look around you. What do you see? Perhaps a desk, a plant, maybe a classmate. Nothing unusual, right? I think so too. Same days, all merging into a one big mess inside your head. Routine choking you with its long sticky hands wrapped all around. I don’t think there is much to enjoy. Especially when you are working in a 9 to 5 job. And that wry smile on your face, it’s starting to feel like your own, doesn’t it?
