“The Hammer of God” by Gilbert Keith Chesterton and “Crouch End” by Stephen King comparison

To begin with, I would like to shortly introduce you the stories that I am going to compare. “The Hammer of God” is the example of crime fiction and it is a story about two brothers: the colonel and the priest. During a story the colonel were murdered and his brother, the priest, was accused for this crime. Next example refers to horror fiction and it is called “Crouch End”. It is a short story about the young American family who were visiting United Kingdom. While they were looking for a particular house in Crouch End district they got lost and strange things started to happen. Finally, the young American man went into strange house and disappeared.
