LOGO. The symbol of five interlocking rings known as the "Olympic rings."
HISTORY. This logo was created in 1912 by french Baron Pierre de Coubertin. He was the person who wanted to recover ancient Olympic Games. So, he created Olympic Games symbolic. The main idea was conceived when the atlethics from all of 5 continent first time came to the 1912 Olympic Games in Stocholm (Sweden) together. Also, the logo symbolize the activity of the Olympic Movement and represents the union of five continents and the meeting of athletes from throughout the world at the Olympic Games.
